ABOUT

The Short Version

I'm Tim Peakman. I spent 16 years in the Royal Air Force, then built two online businesses from scratch before finding the model that actually gave me the life I wanted.

Now I help people build one-person online businesses using search-based content — primarily YouTube and Google. The kind of business that doesn't need a warehouse, a big team, or you sitting at a desk from nine to five.

I've been doing this for over a decade. Along the way I've published 300+ YouTube videos, worked with hundreds of students, and built a business that lets me coach clients from a laptop in the Canadian mountains.

But bullet points don't really tell you much.

So here's the longer version — how I got here, why I do what I do, and what drives the way I work.

CHAPTER ONE

From the RAF to the Internet

Sport was my first love. It's what led me to join the Royal Air Force as a Physical Training Instructor — a role that combined everything I cared about: fitness, coaching, and helping people get better at something.

I spent 16 years in the RAF. I started on the gym floor, coaching individuals and running fitness programmes. Halfway through, I was commissioned as a Training Officer — managing teams, overseeing training facilities, and designing programmes at a much larger scale.

During those years I deployed on multiple operational tours, led international training exchanges, and coached elite athletes. I learned how to take someone from where they are to where they want to be.

That ability to break things down, create a clear plan, and walk someone through it step by step — that's the foundation of everything I do now. The context has changed. The skill hasn't.

CHAPTER TWO

Two Businesses, One Big Lesson

When I left the military, I knew I wanted freedom — the kind where nobody tells you where to be on a Monday morning — but I didn't have a plan for how to get it.

Then I stumbled into Amazon FBA. Physical products, sold online, shipped by Amazon. I went all in, learned fast, and built a business that generated real revenue.

But it taught me something important: revenue isn't the same as freedom. I was managing stock, dealing with suppliers, and tethered to a business model that needed constant attention. It was a job I'd built for myself.

Next came the advertising agency. Friends asked how I'd grown my Amazon ads. I helped a few people, and before I knew it, I'd co-founded an agency — managing campaigns, hiring a team, signing clients.

But again, it wasn't freedom. It was another business that needed me in the room to function.

THE TURNING POINT

Why I Do What I Do Now

After two businesses and more than a decade of trial and error, I sat down and asked myself a simple question: what kind of business would actually give me the life I want?

The answer was surprisingly clear. A business built around what I know, delivered online, that doesn't need a warehouse, a team of ten, or me sitting at a desk from nine to five. A business where I help people directly — through content and coaching rather than physical products or agency retainers.

And critically, a business that grows even when I'm not working. Not through automation gimmicks — but through content that people find when they search for it. A YouTube video I recorded last year still brings people to my door today.

True freedom is having location freedom, time freedom, and financial freedom. You need all three.

My wife and I recently spent a full season snowboarding in Canada. I was coaching clients, publishing content, and running my business from a laptop in the mountains. Not because I'm special — but because the model is designed that way.

That's the business I built for myself. And now it's the business I help other people build too.

MY APPROACH

What You'll Get From Working With Me

I'm not the flashy guru type. I don't do countdown timers, fake scarcity, or "only 3 spots left" nonsense. If that's what you're looking for, there are plenty of people online who'll happily take your money with that approach.

What I am is direct, practical, and patient. I've spent two decades coaching people — from 18-year-old recruits to experienced business owners — and the thing that works every single time is the same: break it down, make it clear, take it one step at a time.

I show up live in everything I do. Whether you're watching a free YouTube video or you're a private coaching client, you're getting me — not a pre-recorded course I made three years ago and forgot about.

My whole philosophy is built on what I call slow marketing — creating content that compounds over time rather than chasing algorithms and posting six times a day. I'll never tell you to burn yourself out trying to go viral. I'll tell you to show up consistently, create things people are searching for, and let time do the heavy lifting.

OFF THE CLOCK

When I'm Not Working

I live with my wife and our dog Loki — yes, named after the Marvel character, and yes, he causes exactly as much chaos as you'd expect.

I'm a lifelong sports fan and still train most days. Snowboarding is the big one — we try to spend time in the mountains every year, and Canada is our second home at this point.

I'm a firm believer that the whole point of building a business is to live a life you actually enjoy. Not to optimise every hour, not to hustle through your weekends, and definitely not to build something that makes you miserable just because it makes money.

That philosophy runs through everything I teach. If the business isn't giving you a better life, something needs to change.
