Kajabi Pricing 2026 (Updated): Which Plan You Actually Need

kajabi: getting started Oct 07, 2026

Kajabi pricing in 2026 starts at $143 a month and goes up to $499, depending on the plan and how you pay. I've run my entire online business on Kajabi since 2018, so in this post I walk you through all three plans, what each one actually includes, the fees on every sale, and which plan I'd start on if I was beginning again.

Kajabi changed its prices in January 2026. If you see a Kickstarter plan anywhere, that information is out of date.

Key Takeaways

  • Kajabi has three plans in 2026: Basic, Growth and Pro, from $143 to $499 a month.
  • Most people should start on Basic and only upgrade when they hit a real limit, usually the number of products or contacts.
  • Kajabi takes no cut of your sales, but card processing fees apply, and they are higher if you don't use Kajabi Payments.

How Much Does Kajabi Cost in 2026?

Kajabi pricing is split into three plans, and like most software you can pay monthly or annually. Paying annually saves you 20%.

Kajabi pricing at a glance (US dollars):

  • Basic: $179 a month, or $143 a month billed annually
  • Growth: $249 a month, or $199 a month billed annually
  • Pro: $499 a month, or $399 a month billed annually

Kajabi runs limited-time offers every now and again, so it's worth checking Kajabi's pricing page before you pay full price. Everything is priced in US dollars, so if you're in the UK the pound price moves with the exchange rate.

Which Kajabi Plan Is Right for You?

What I like about Kajabi's pricing page is that it tells you who each plan is for, based on the size of your business.

  • Basic: best for experts making their first $10,000 a year
  • Growth: perfect for getting to $50,000 a year and beyond
  • Pro: built for $200,000+ a year businesses that want their own branded app

My recommendation is to start on the Basic plan. There's no point paying for Growth if you're not using the features that come with it. Match the plan to the business you have today, and upgrade as it grows.

I'm on the Growth plan myself. When I moved up, it was the number of products that pushed me, not the size of my list. If you're still deciding whether Kajabi is right for you at all, I cover that in the things I wish I knew before buying Kajabi.

The Kajabi Plan Limits That Make You Upgrade

The two main reasons people move from Basic to Growth to Pro are the number of products and the number of people on their email list.

Products

  • Basic: 5 products
  • Growth: 50 products
  • Pro: unlimited products

A product is something you deliver, such as a course, a membership or a coaching programme. Each one counts as one product. Start with Basic, and if you want a sixth, seventh or eighth product, that's when Growth makes sense.

Contacts

  • Basic: 2,500 contacts
  • Growth: 25,000 contacts
  • Pro: 100,000 contacts

Contacts are the people on your email list, not your paying customers. Once you pass 2,500, it may be time for Growth. Past 25,000 you have a sizeable business, and Pro becomes an option.

Products Are Not the Same as Offers

This is the part that catches people out. Offers, or checkout pages, are unlimited on every plan, and you can bundle several products into a single offer. The limit is on products, not on how many ways you sell them. I show how offers work in my Kajabi checkout page walkthrough.

What Each Kajabi Plan Includes

Here's how the main features compare across the three plans.

Included on every plan

  • Website: one website on Basic and Growth, three on Pro, all on your own domain
  • Community: one community per site, and it doesn't count towards your product limit
  • Access groups: different levels or tiers inside your community, also outside the product count
  • Landing pages and funnels: unlimited
  • Marketing emails: unlimited, so you don't need a separate email provider
  • Kajabi app: your customers can reach their courses, communities and coaching in the Kajabi app
  • Video transcripts: included
  • Automations: basic automations
  • Connecting other tools: included
  • Universal inbox: every message in one place
  • Backstage: a space for high-touch work like one-to-one coaching, with recordings and chat

Growth and Pro only

  • Live cohort courses: run versions of a course for groups starting on different dates, rather than one evergreen course everyone sees the same way
  • Affiliate programme: let your students promote your products
  • Advanced automations and webhooks: tags, triggers and conditions for more complex flows
  • Comment to DM: reply to Instagram comments from inside Kajabi
  • Remove Kajabi branding: on Basic you'll see a small "Powered by Kajabi" in the footer

Pro only

  • Branded app: your own app in the App Store with your branding (find out whether the app is worth it)
  • Custom code: edit the code behind your site
  • API access: build on top of Kajabi

On custom code, don't worry about it if you're not a developer. I'm on Growth and don't need it. I've seen sites break when themes update because they carried too much custom code, so plug-and-play Kajabi is the safer route.

Team members

  • Basic: 2 team members
  • Growth: 11 team members
  • Pro: 26 team members

Kajabi Fees: What You Pay on Every Sale

Kajabi doesn't take a percentage of your sales, unlike some other platforms. You do pay standard card processing fees.

Kajabi Payments card fees:

  • Basic: 2.9% + 30c
  • Growth: 2.8% + 30c
  • Pro: 2.7% + 30c

If you use an outside payment processor instead of Kajabi Payments, there's an extra fee on top: 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. Most pricing guides leave this out.

I use Kajabi Payments. It works every time and adds Apple Pay and Google Pay to the checkout. I cover the checkout side in more detail in my post on Kajabi Payments.

Kajabi AI Features on Each Plan

  • Kajabi Cofounder: an AI chat inside your account that can answer questions about your revenue, targets and products, on every plan
  • Kajabi MCP: connect your AI of choice to your account, on every plan. I've connected Claude to mine and it works well
  • AI credits: none on Basic, 500 a month on Growth, 1,000 on Pro, with extra bundles available at $15 a month

Kajabi also says expert agents, such as a sales agent and a customer support agent, are coming soon.

My Advice on Choosing a Kajabi Plan

Match your current business size and structure to a plan, and upgrade as you grow. For most people that means starting on Basic.

The aim is to get revenue in the door to cover the cost of the plan. Move up when a real limit gets in your way, usually products or contacts, rather than for a feature you like the look of.
