The quiz template contains three main tabs: questions, settings, and results. I start by working in the questions tab to build out my quiz content.

I use this type when asking questions like "which of these features count towards your Kajabi product limit?" where multiple items might apply. Students can check all the boxes that they believe are correct.

Short Answer Prompts

The short answer option provides a text field where students can type their response. This is straightforward - they just enter their answer as text.

This format works when you want written responses rather than selecting from predetermined options. It's useful for questions that require students to recall or explain information in their own words.

File Upload Requirements

File upload questions require students to submit an actual file or screenshot as their response. When you select this option, students will see an upload button where they can attach their file.

I use this when I want to receive visual feedback, like asking students to "upload a screenshot of your Kajabi homepage to receive feedback." This type of question requires manual review on your end since you'll need to go in and evaluate the uploaded files yourself.

Naming and Describing Quizzes

Inside the settings tab, you'll need to give your quiz a name. You also have the option to add a description to explain why you're including this quiz in the first place.

The description helps students understand the purpose before they begin. This is where you set context for the assessment.

Applying Branding Elements

You have the option to upload a branded logo for either your course product or the quiz itself. This allows you to maintain visual consistency throughout your program.

The logo will appear on your quiz pages to reinforce your brand identity.

Setting Grading Parameters

You can set a pass grade by choosing a specific percentage. Once configured, you have several options:

• Send an email to the member with a link to the results (customizable in email templates)
• Prevent the member from marking the quiz as complete without a passing grade
• Hide the answers on the results page or show them

You have the option to set your quiz as either draft or public. This determines whether students can access the quiz immediately or if it remains hidden while you continue building it out.

The draft option lets you work on the quiz before making it available to your students.

Inside the quiz settings, you have control over completion emails. You can send a completion email with a link to the results directly to your students. This keeps them informed about their performance immediately after they submit.

You also have the option to send a completion email to yourself or your team. Just input the email address in the designated field within the settings tab. This allows you to monitor when students complete quizzes without having to manually check the results page.

Accessing Student Submissions

Once students have completed the quiz, you need to go back into the course build to view their responses. Navigate to your course product and locate the quiz within your program structure.

Click on the quiz to access it. You'll find a results tab that displays a list of students who have completed your quiz. This is where all student submissions are collected in one place.

The results page provides an overview of who has taken the quiz. From here, you can review individual student performance and responses.

Reviewing Individual Responses

When you access the results section, you can see the specific answers students provided. This includes responses to multiple choice questions, checkbox selections, short answer text, and any file uploads they've submitted.

For file upload questions, you'll need to review what students have submitted manually. For example, if you asked students to upload a screenshot of their homepage to receive feedback, you can view these files directly from the results page.

You have the option in your settings to hide the answers on the results page or show them. If you show the answers, students can review what they got correct or incorrect. This helps them understand the material better and potentially retake the quiz if needed.

The grading options allow you to determine whether students can see their results immediately or not. You can customize email templates that are sent with the results link to provide additional context or feedback to your students.

To add a quiz to your course, go into your products, click courses, and select the course where you want to add the quiz. Click add content, and you'll see a dropdown option to select quiz.
