What Is Kajabi? How 528 People I Referred Made $3.3 Million
Oct 21, 2026What is Kajabi? It's the platform I run my whole one-person online business on, and since I became a Kajabi partner in 2022, I've referred 528 people to it. As of this month, between them, they've made $3.3 million on it. In this post I walk you through what Kajabi actually is, what those 528 people have earned, and a tour of my live account so you can see how it all fits together.
Key Takeaways
- Kajabi is one place to run an online business: your website, the things you sell, how people pay you, and your emails, all under one login.
- The 528 people I've referred to Kajabi have made $3.3 million on it, and nine of them have passed $100,000.
- Every one of those success stories started the same way, with a first sale.
What Is Kajabi?
If you go to kajabi.com, the first thing you see is their main message: turn what you know into what you're known for. That sums it up well.
Kajabi is built for people who sell their knowledge. Whether you want to build a course, a community, a newsletter, a podcast, digital downloads or a coaching service, it all lives in one place.
Everything is under one roof. Instead of stitching together a website builder, a course host, a payment tool and an email tool, you have one login and one bill.
Creators Have Earned Over $12 Billion on Kajabi
On Kajabi's homepage there's a number I always point people to. Creators using the platform have earned over $12 billion in revenue.
That's a big number. But I wanted to know what it looked like closer to home, so I looked at the people I've sent to Kajabi myself.
What the 528 People I Referred to Kajabi Have Earned
I had Claude pull the data from my Kajabi partner dashboard: every person who has joined Kajabi through my link, and what they've gone on to earn on the platform.
Here's what it shows:
- 528 people: referred to Kajabi since 2022
- $3.34 million: earned on Kajabi between them
- 39 people: have made over $10,000
- 9 people: have made over $100,000
What They've Earned by the Year They Joined
I also split it by the year each person joined. The people who joined earlier have had longer to build, so their totals are naturally higher.
- Joined 2022 to 2023: $861,000, from 86 people
- Joined 2024: just over $1 million, from 181 people
- Joined 2025: over $1.25 million, from 188 people
- Joined 2026: $175,000 so far
I haven't promoted Kajabi as much this year, which is why fewer people joined in 2026. Those numbers are still climbing.
From First Sale to Six Figures
- Up to $1,000: 50 people
- $1,000 to $10,000: 36 people
- $10,000 to $50,000: 27 people
- $50,000 and over: 12 people
That money is theirs. They earned it, and it's the part of being a Kajabi partner I'm most proud of. Every one of them started the same way, with a first sale.
Inside My Kajabi Dashboard
So what actually is Kajabi when you log in? This is the back end of my own account, the place I build things out on a daily basis.
If you want to see how anything looks to your audience, you click preview from your dashboard. You can also take Kajabi out for a spin on a free trial before you commit, and I walk through where to start in my Kajabi guide for beginners.
Building Your Website on Kajabi
Everything on my homepage has been built with Kajabi. It's intuitive and simple to learn.
- Go to your dashboard, then Website Design.
- Connect your domain first. Kajabi hosts your domain, landing pages, website, sales pages, checkouts and emails.
- Click into each part of the page and edit it, either by typing in the left-hand window or by adding your own HTML.
- Add new blocks and sections by clicking and dragging: a hero, features, a carousel, events, images, audio and more.
I use AI to help draft the copy on who I am, who I serve and what I do, then build the blocks around it.
The same page builder covers your homepage, library page, blog posts, newsletters, About page, Contact page, Privacy Policy and Terms. It's pretty comprehensive, and that's just the page builder.
Marketing, Contacts, Offers and Checkout
Down the left-hand side of the dashboard you've got everything else you need to run the business.
- Marketing: your emails
- Contacts: your CRM for everyone on your list (more in my post on the Kajabi CRM)
- Analytics: a clear view of how things are performing
- Offers and checkout: put offers together, design your checkouts and take payments with Kajabi Pay
- Products: courses, coaching, community, podcasts, newsletters and downloads
Which of these you get depends on your plan. I break each plan down in my post on Kajabi pricing in 2026.
Courses and Coaching on Kajabi
Courses
Inside one of my courses, you click the little preview eye to see exactly how it displays to students. From there you build it out lesson by lesson: upload a video, add some copy underneath, and link out to any other resources.
There are two sides to it. The builder is where you edit the content, and Customize is where you change the look and feel of the layout.
Coaching
I do a lot of coaching, so my private one-on-one coaching package lives in Kajabi too. I lay out the list of sessions I want to offer, then set the title, coaching name and email in the settings.
Preview shows exactly what a client sees: they scroll down, see their list of sessions, and schedule the next one. I cover more of this in my Kajabi coaching update.
Kajabi Settings: Get These Right Early
Back in the dashboard, Settings is where you'll find payment settings, site settings and account settings. You can even run multiple accounts.
These settings are worth getting right at the start, ready for scale, before you build anything else.
So, What Is Kajabi?
Kajabi is one place to run your whole online business, from your website and email to your products, checkout and coaching. I run my one-person business on it, and the 528 people I've referred have made $3.3 million on it between them.
If you're deciding whether it's right for you, start with one offer and aim for your first sale. That's where every one of those success stories started.
