Why You Should NOT Buy Kajabi (Without This 12 Month Deal)
May 20, 2026Please note: the 12-month deal in this post ended on 2 June 2026. The prices below are no longer available, but the five Kajabi product updates are still worth knowing about.
In May 2026, Kajabi ran one of its biggest promotions to date: 50% off all plans. If you were thinking about buying Kajabi at the time, I recommended you didn't sign up without getting that deal for a full 12 months rather than the standard six.
I walk you through what the deal was, the five new Kajabi products that launched alongside it, and two real examples of how I use Kajabi's AI assistant, Co-Founder, in my own business.
Key Takeaways
- Kajabi's spring 2026 promotion offered 50% off all plans, extended to 12 months through my link, until 2 June 2026.
- Kajabi rolled out five new products: Co-Founder, Backstage, Amplify, MCP and Expert Agents.
- Co-Founder is an AI assistant built into your Kajabi account that knows your products and emails and can tell you exactly where to make changes.
The Kajabi 12-Month Deal (Now Ended)
Kajabi's standard spring 2026 offer was 50% off all plans for six months. Through my partner link, that was extended to the full 12 months, until 2 June 2026. People who signed up through my link also got three live coaching calls with me.
What the 50% discount looked like per month:
- Basic: $179 down to $89
- Growth: $249 down to $124
- Pro: $499 down to $249
If you'd rather try Kajabi before committing to a plan, I've always suggested starting with a free trial so you can look under the hood first. For current plans and prices, see my post on the new Kajabi pricing, or my guide to choosing the right Kajabi plan.
Five New Kajabi Products in 2026
Alongside the deal, Kajabi rolled out five new products. Here's what each one does.
1. Co-Founder: Kajabi's Built-In AI Assistant
Co-Founder was already live when I recorded the video. It's an AI chatbot built on popular large language models, but it sits inside your Kajabi account and is included in your subscription.
Because it learns what you've built, including your products and emails, it can suggest your next best step. It can help you write emails, price your products, read your analytics and get unstuck at the next stage of growing your business.
2. Backstage: A Private Space for 1:1 Clients
Backstage is a portal and library for your one-to-one clients. You can add sessions and voice memos, send notes and pull in content from your other programmes, so each client gets a tailored experience. It's designed for high-ticket 1:1 coaching. I cover Kajabi's coaching tools in more depth in my Kajabi coaching update.
3. Amplify: Newsletter Sponsorships Between Kajabi Users
Across all Kajabi users there are 551 million contacts. Amplify lets you be a sponsor or a publisher: you can pay to appear in another Kajabi user's email newsletter, or let others appear in yours. It's a way of connecting your skills and audience with other people's.
4. MCP: Connect AI Tools to Your Kajabi Account
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It's a bit like an API, but built for AI tools. If you work in something like Claude or ChatGPT, MCP lets that tool connect directly to your Kajabi account.
You tell your AI what you want, and it goes through the MCP into Kajabi to build it for you, such as landing pages or launch assets. For anyone who already uses AI regularly, this was one of the most requested features. For the older way of connecting tools to Kajabi, see my post on the Kajabi API.
5. Expert Agents: AI That Works While You Sleep
Expert Agents are AI assistants trained on your content. Kajabi started with two:
- Sales agents: if someone on your sales page asks "Is this for beginners?", the agent answers for you.
- Teaching assistants: if a student has a question at midnight your time, the agent responds on your behalf so they can keep making progress.
The plan is to extend these agents into a universal inbox across your whole Kajabi account.
How I Use Kajabi Co-Founder in My Business
Co-Founder is in my live Kajabi account, and you open it from a small icon. It works like any chat-based AI, except it knows your Kajabi setup. Two real examples:
Updating My Registered Office Address
I recently changed my registered business address and asked Co-Founder where I needed to update it in Kajabi. It listed four places:
- Site-level business info and public-facing documents.
- Payments, checkout and customer invoices.
- System emails and templates.
- My Kajabi account and billing.
I changed it in all four, and I'm confident I haven't missed anywhere.
Creating a Deep Link to a Section of a Page
I wanted to link straight to one section of a sales page rather than the top of it, but wasn't sure how to do that in Kajabi. Co-Founder explained it: give each section on the landing page its own title, then create deep links that take people directly to that section.
For the full list of Kajabi features I covered before these, see my post on 12 new Kajabi features.
Conclusion
The 12-month deal has now ended, but the five products that came with it are changing what Kajabi can do: Co-Founder, Backstage, Amplify, MCP and Expert Agents.
If you're on Kajabi already, start with Co-Founder. Ask it the questions you'd normally search for, and see how much time it saves you.
